With temperatures rarely dipping below 25oC (77oF), any time of year is a good time to experience Phu Quoc, there are however some differences in the weather throughout the year, most noticeably between the wet and dry seasons.
Throughout the year the weather can vary from one season to the next but compared to the rest of Vietnam the weather in Phu Quoc is consistently the best!
Our Tip:The prime time to visit is November to April when skies are blue, the sea is clear and diving at its best, however for stunning waterfalls the rain season is a much better time

Dry Season

Weather in Phu Quoc: When to Visit?
The dry season in Phu Quoc is typically from November through to April, when the skies are blue, the sea on the west coast is very calm, diving and boating is at its best.
Not completely without rain but when it does come, it's usually short, sweet and a relief after a hot spell.
We often get higher temperatures and humidity leading up to the wet season in April and in to May but its still a good time to visit just a little bit hot!

The wet season usually starts from early May and continues to October sometimes even into November, during this period however we can often have some great sunny dry spells, temperatures are much milder which makes it more comfortable, but the rain can at times be heavy.
The northern interior, with its waterfalls and rich vegetation, this is when it's best visited, the rivers are at their peak, the forests are lush and green, a stark difference from the dry season!

Of course, all this being said, the weather should never totally dictate when you visit Phu Quoc
